The transformation
Most everyday tops make you choose — flattering or comfortable, looks good or feels good. Here's how 200gsm of superfine New Zealand merino, cut clean and classic, gives you both.
Before
Tops that look good but itch. Ones that feel soft but lose their shape. Synthetics that cling and hold the day's smell. Nothing you reach for on instinct.
The shift
Superfine and soft against the skin, flattering without chasing trends, with inset thumbholes and cuffs that stay put. The everyday basic, done properly.
After
Solo when it's mild, layered under a jacket when it's not. Across seasons, across settings — from slow mornings to full days out. The piece you stop thinking about, because it just works.
Designed in New Zealand. The best basics, made properly.
Compare the lineup
Same superfine New Zealand merino across the range. The difference is how heavy you want it, and how you plan to wear it.
At a glance.
Built for the way you live
Not warmth, not softness, not durability — all three. Made the way good clothing used to be made.
01 — Refined
Same superfine 200gsm merino, same flattering cut and longer length you already know — now with inset thumbholes that sit clean and discreet, stay-put cuffs, and a refined jersey finish. Everything you loved about the OG, quietly sharpened.
Same wool, same fit as the OG. Inset thumbholes, stay-put cuffs, refined finish.
02 — Reliable
Pull it on Wednesday, wear it again Thursday, and still feel good in it. It moves with you, breathes when you do, regulates your temperature, and stays fresh through the kind of week where laundry isn't the priority.
Naturally odour-resistant. Wear it more, wash it less. (Within reason — use your judgement, of course.)
03 — Real wool
Soft against the skin from the first wear — the kind of softness that makes you forget you're wearing wool at all. No itch, no scratch. Just the feeling of something honest, made from something real.
Superfine New Zealand merino. The same wool standard across our range, since 2016.

Questions, answered
The honest answers to what most people ask us. If yours isn't here, get in touch.
A clean, classic cut that's flattering without being tight — shaped through the body with a slightly longer length, so it sits well solo or layered. Naturally stretchy merino moves with you. Available in XS to XL; our model wears a Small. If you're between sizes, most customers find their usual size is spot on.
The wool comes from New Zealand high-country flocks — the same merino standard we've used across our range since 2016. The garment is finished in China by a trusted manufacturing partner we've worked with for the same eight years.
Machine wash cold on the gentle or wool cycle, using wool detergent. Lay flat or air dry. Don't bleach. Treat it like a piece you want to keep for years, not seasons.
No to all three, when cared for properly. The superfine merino is fine enough to sit soft against bare skin — no scratch, no irritation. The refined jersey knit holds its shape and resists pilling. Wash on the wool cycle and lay flat, and it'll look the same in year five as it does on day one.
The Standard and our best-selling OG share the same superfine 200gsm merino and the same flattering cut and length — so the feel and fit are what you already love. The difference is in the details: the OG has our original thumbloops and cuff binding, while the Standard has discreet inset thumbholes, stay-put cuffs, and a refined jersey finish. The Crew Sweatshirt is the heaviest piece at 300gsm — a cosy outer layer for cold days. Same wool standard across all three. (See the comparison above.)
You've got 30 days to exchange it for the right size or take store credit. You cover return shipping; we cover the new piece coming out to you. Faulty or not as described? Full refund, always.
