The transformation
Most tanks are an afterthought — thin, scratchy, see-through, forgotten by the second wash. Here's how 200gsm of ultrasoft New Zealand merino becomes the first thing you put on, every day of the year.
Before
Synthetic ones that cling and smell. Cotton ones that stretch out and go see-through. None of them the one you actually want against your skin.
The shift
Soft enough to wear next to skin all day. Light enough for summer, warm enough to layer in winter. Breathes when you do, and stays fresh wear after wear.
After
Solo on warm days, layered under everything when it cools. The piece you build the outfit on — and the one you'll quietly want in every shade we make.
Designed in New Zealand. Worn every day of the year.
Compare the lineup
Same ultrasoft 200gsm New Zealand merino across all three. The difference is how much coverage you want — and how you like to wear it.

Built for the way you live
Not warmth, not softness, not versatility — all three. Made the way good clothing used to be made.
01 — Softness
Spun from ultrafine 18.5 micron New Zealand merino — fine enough to sit gently against bare skin with no itch, no scratch, no irritation. This is the tank you'll want closest to you: soft in the morning, soft after a full day, soft wash after wash.
18.5 micron ultrafine merino — our softest next-to-skin knit.
02 — Versatility
Light enough to wear on its own when it's warm, and the perfect first layer when it cools — slips under everything without adding bulk. It breathes when you do, regulates your temperature, and stays fresh enough to wear again tomorrow. One tank, every season.
Worn solo through summer and layered through winter. Every day of the year.
03 — Real wool
100% New Zealand merino — the same honest material we've built everything on since 2016. No synthetic cling, no plasticky finish, no compromise. Just the natural softness of real wool, made into the tank you reach for first.
100% New Zealand merino. The same wool standard across our range, since 2016.

From one of ours
Soft, snug, and not see-through.
So soft and a perfect fit. I wear it under shirts, but you could easily wear it on its own. Beautifully made — I've worn it out several times already, even in summer.

Questions, answered
The honest answers to what most people ask us. If yours isn't here, get in touch.
A close, easy fit that moves and stretches with you — never tight, never clingy. It sits higher at the neckline than our Scoop Tank, with narrow straps that stay hidden under shirts and layers. Our model is 5'6" and wears a Small. If you're between sizes or usually a 12–14, most customers find their usual size is spot on (one happy reviewer at a 12–14 sized into a Medium and called it a perfect fit).
The wool comes from New Zealand high-country flocks — the same merino standard we've used across our range since 2016. The garment is finished in China by a trusted manufacturing partner we've worked with for the same eight years.
Machine wash cold on the gentle or wool cycle, using wool detergent. Lay flat or air dry. Don't bleach. Treat it like a piece you want to keep for years, not seasons.
No to all three. The 200gsm knit gives it real substance — it's not a flimsy summer tank, and it's not see-through (something our customers mention often). At 18.5 micron the fibres are ultrafine, so it sits soft against bare skin with no itch. Wash it on the wool cycle and lay it flat, and it holds its shape and resists pilling wear after wear.
The Everyday Tank is the lightest, softest layer we make — a higher neckline, narrow straps, and our finest 18.5 micron knit. The Scoop Tank is its sister: same easy versatility, but with a lower, wider scoop neckline if you prefer more of an open neck. The Standard Long Sleeve is the full-coverage step up — long sleeves with inset thumbholes for cooler days. Same ultrasoft merino across all three; it just comes down to how much coverage you want. (See the comparison above.)
You've got 30 days to exchange it for the right size or take store credit. You cover return shipping; we cover the new piece coming out to you. Faulty or not as described? Full refund, always.
